Independent of the influences of “me too” organizations, this group is dedicated to the development of excellence in the Mail Management function, be it in hard copy or the electronic form.

Membership is restricted to Mail Management Executives and their staffs in both the Public and Private Sectors in Canada; it is a lobbying platform, training and educational organization and a clearing house for the latest in news and technology from around the world.

Brief History

C Me Mail was formed in 1989 in Vancouver British Columbia under the direction of Robert Ykema – President.

On contract to Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC the company offered leading edge direct marketing and database management systems.

In 1996 the operation relocated to St Catharines, Ontario and reformed, bringing in Ian Lawrence as a Shareholder and Vice-President. Now the company is now based at 6 Davidson St in St Catharines and has 16 employees.

 

Mail is one of the most misunderstood marketing techniques of the current millennium. It uses proven, established concepts, the structured and systematic application of which creates sucsessful customers. Direct mail marketing creates value for the customer in providing new leads, retaining current business and generating product and service awareness.

Online retailers and marketers have found “direct mail recipients were nearly twice as likely to purchase from a website as those who received only internet communication.”
